There will be an American Humane Association Basic Animal Emergency Services Training in Stanwood , WA .  The training will be Feb 27 & 28, 2010.  This class teaches the basics to respond to animal emergencies such as disasters, hoarding cases, puppy mills, etc.  The training combines classroom instruction with practical scenarios.  There was a waiting list the last time we had this class in Washington State so be sure to sign up soon to reserve your spot.  Please feel free to spread the word about this class to make sure we fill it so we are better prepared in WA for animal related emergencies.
