Public Health:
Seattle & King County ’s Zoonotic Disease Program has produced a wonderful resource compiling information needed by every veterinary practice in our area.  It is entitled:  "Zoonotic Disease Prevention and Public Health."  Chapters include: Animal control & welfare agencies; Reportable diseases & reporting form; Rabies; Animal bites; Zoonotic diseases & pet owners; Exotic animals & wildlife; Avian zoonotic disease prevention; Persons at increased risk of zoonotic diseases; Animal abuse & human violence; Disaster preparedness; Infection control in veterinary practices; Zoonotic diseases & animal exhibits; Travel, importation, & service animal regulations
